Bishop Gary Cooper

The primary blessing Bishop Gary Cooper is most proud of is his forty-two years of marriage to his wife, Glenda Cooper. They have two adult children, a beautiful daughter -in-love and five grandchildren. The "Coopers" married young and grew together to become responsible adults and parents. They accredit their success in marriage to sticking close to their faith in their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as well as having wise pastors who were able to provide sound counseling when they (like all married couples do) faced family conflicts.

After family, the Apostolic Churches of God Militant Pillar and Ground of the Truth have coexisted in Bishop Cooper's life since birth. He is a third-generation pastor and Bishop within the Church of God Militant Pillar Ground of Truth church organization. This organization is a small one-hundred-plus-year-old church association with about thirteen churches in various parts of the country. In addition, they have missionaries serving periodically in Africa, teaching and preaching the Gospels.

Bishop Cooper's family have worked alongside him in his various ministry pursuits, as he serves as the Pastor to his local church body as well as being privileged enough to hold leadership responsibilities within the COGMPGT church organization. It his earnest desire to truly serve God's people in every capacity purposed by God for his life with love, sincerity, and effectiveness.
